A couple of years ago I participated in a Resilience First Aid course, facilitated by Bjelkie Lansdown from BLMC. I realised how beneficial it was for enhancing my ability to recognise, understand, and strengthen my own resilience as well as providing me with the knowledge to better support my family and friends during their challenging times. Following this course, I reached out to Bjelkie to collaborate on a shorter program aimed at improving the mental health of community volunteers supporting victims of severe trauma. Bjelkie has been fantastic to work with and her knowledge and passion on this subject is evident in the way she presents these courses.

Resilience First Aid training presented by Bjelkie was amazing. Not only did it provide tools and resources to make a positive impact on the mental health of others but opened my own eyes in looking after my own. I always considered myself to be resilience but now l have a measure on just how resilience l really am and what l can do to build that resilience within me and others. Well worth doing the course, even if you can not do the two full days to become accredited try the 2.5 hour Resilience First Aid Starter Training. I have completed Mental Health & Resilience First Aid Training with BL and found the content and delivery. Not only is it relevant for my clients, I'm taking learnings home for my kids, family and friends.
