Mental Health is a topic some people of are not comfortable with. Have you asked the question “Are you OK?” with the expectation and skills to respond appropriately if someone answers “No”? Sometimes we know a person is not OK but do not feel confident in how to handle the situation or what to say.

This 2 day course being held in Albury Wodonga at the SSA Club Albury on 3rd and 4th December will give you skills and confidence to identify someone who needs support, the words to use and how to help that person once you are with them.

This is a course approved and designed by the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors and contributes towards professional development points.

National Safety Week Free event albury wodonga

National Safety Week is nearly here. Register for a free Albury Wodonga Event on Tuesday 21st October 9am – 4pm from the WorkSafe VIC website.

Topics include behavioural safety, drugs and alcohol, mental health and WHS management systems. The morning session has a keynote speaker, SafeWork NSW and WorkSafe VIC presenting. The afternoon session has three topics from which you can choose two to attend.
